Conservatory types and examples.

A room for all seasons! A room with a view!

Somewhere to catch the sun or eat in the colder months; somewhere to enjoy the garden in comfort; somewhere to appreciate the summer months? Yes, all of those and more. A conservatory is undoubtedly the best home improvement that you can make to enhance both your lifestyle and property value.

As possible permutations and combinations are enormous, these illustrations are only intended to give a representative sampling of the most common types of conservatory to give you an initial starting point.

Three Facet Victorian Conservatory
The three facet Victorian is probably one of the most common types - an aesthetically pleasing shape and suitable for most situations.
The five facet Victorian is probably equally popular and presents a more rounded appearance..

Five Facet Victorian Conservatory
Georgian Conservatory
Georgian conservatories optimize available area with their square end elevation. This provides maximum internal floor space.
Gable front conservatories are quite distinct and probably more traditional. They come into their own when matched to a steeply pitched roof

Box Gutter construction essentially abuts an existing building and utilises a shared gutter system
Corner Infil. A rather unusual format but an excellent method of utilising available space. Also very cost effective as they use only two external walls.

Extended Leanto Conservatory
Finally two examples of the Leanto type. Particularly suitable where there are height restrictions, but can be quite extensive, as shown on the left.
